I2C adapter for LCD dislays based on HD44780 (most common a driver for character LCDs). With this adapter You will use only 2 pins (compared to 6 or 10 when connecting LCD directly). Suitable both for Arduino and Raspberry Pi

Of course, standard LiquidCrystal library for Arduino won’t work with this adapter, You have to install this one, You can find on GitHub or use one available in Library Manager - Liquidcrystal_PCF8574.

On board You have jumper to enable/disable LCD backlight and jumpers A1, A2, A3 to set board address on I2C bus.
