Well know format - round PCB with big holes to wrap conductive thread. ATmega328 procesor on board - most popular in Arduino world.
Since ATmega328 does not have native USB support (boards with ATmega32u4 have this feature) there is no USB connector on board. To program board You will need some USB/Serial converter.
