Raspberry Pi 3, credit card size single board computer - your pass to IoT world!

Raspberry Pi is a miniature single board computer a little bigger than a credit card (85 x 56 x 17 mm). Your journey to IoT world starts with insering the microSD card with pre-instlled operating system. Just connect a monitor, mouse and keboard and you are ready to work! The biggest advantage is that the Raspberry Pi as opposed to the typical computers, has a special connector (GPIO), which allows you to easily connect your own custom electrical circuits.

Starting from the simplest systems such as LEDs, buttons, through more advanced as relays, which can control electrical equipment, position sensors (GPS) or orientation in space.

Affordability and ease of connection mentioned above with the multitude of existing software, are a guarantee that the possibilities are almost endless. It is a huge boost to creativity. Raspberry Pi with all of its ecosystem and large community is set to open new horizons.

And always, when you discover new opportunities in your head there are new ideas on how to use them in a way unique to your previous experience and knowledge. Model 3 also extends these capabilities by offering a much faster processor and built-in wireless modules (Wi-Fi and Bleutooth Low Energy).

If you do not already have experience with programming, Raspberry is a great testing ground. You will learn programming, while discovering its features. For experienced programmers ease of interaction with the environment is equally revealing.

In order to start the adventure with Raspberry Pi, cosider having a:
