Optocoupler module, 2 channels, PC817

In many cases You need to have separation between control circuit and circuit being controlled. If current can not pass between how You can control? Well, usually control signal is passed using optical interface.

PC817 is LED and photo transistor integrated into single device. Thus when You enable LED, you allow current to flow through transistor. This way you get separation and can pass control signal.

Module has two PC817, so you can control two channels. Each channel has additional red LED to show when is enabled. GND is connected on both sides, but using jumper you can split it (separately for each channel) to have full separation, even at GND level.
