Simple magnetic field sensor (hall effect) - it returns 0 or 1 depending on magnetic field strength, so You can monitor when magnetic field arises above some threshold. Place strong magnet near sensor, and You will be able to detect when magnet was moved (for example attach it to door, and You will know doors are open or closed)
It is best to use with strong magnet.
Outputs (when sensor is directed up and wider part is on Your side) from left:
- data (1/0)
- ground (GND)
- power (+5V)
