ADXL335 module, only 21 mm x 16 mm x 3 mm (w/o goldpin). Easy to connect to an Arduino, since it is analog sensor. Just measure voltage to get results.
ADXL335 is 3 axis accelerometer with measurment range ±3g. Typical sensitivity 300mV/g. Can work with supply voltage from 3V to 5V.
