The cable gland is used to route cables through housings, while maintaining the IP68 tightness standard. Some call it a gland or sleeve.
This way you can lead the cable out of the housing (e.g. NAMa. This gland is PG-16 in size, designed for cables from 10 mm to 14 mm, so slightly thicker than in the case of PG-7. In short, a half-inch fits here. So, specifically, this is a microphone for the DNMS kit for NAM, normally you probably won’t need to lead anything that big out of the NAM housing.
The gland is gray, in a shade similar to the NAM housing.
