This modules are basically the same like these BT 2.0 adapters. We could not change it’s default settings, so they are working under name_HC-05_, default PIN 1234 and speed 9600 bauds. If You need cheap BT link and can accept default parameters - then these modules are great deal.

Serial port bluetooth, Drop-in replacement for wired serial connections. You can use it simply for a serial port replacement to establish connection between MCU and GPS, PC to your embedded project and etc.
