Arduino Pro Mini 3.3V - small dimensions and low power consumption

Product is retired

Arduino based on ATmega328, made entirely with SMD (surface mounted) parts. Basic specification:

  • ATmega328 onboard
  • 3.3V logic
  • Supply voltage: 3.3 - 12V
  • no USB connector
  • works with 8 MHz clock speed
  • has no pin header soldered, but you can do it by yourself (there are appropiate soldering pads and holes for them)

Like every Mini, this one is dedicated to more advanced users, who have some experience with electronics and Arduino. You get a very small device, but there's no USB/Serial converter for programming, no connectors and different ATmega supply voltage.

Because the microcontroler works at lower voltage and clock spped, it's prefectly suitable for low-power applications or when Arduino has to cooperate with other modules working at 3.3V (this is common e.g. among Bluetooth and GPS modules). In such case you don't have to bother with TTL 5V/3.3V level conversion.

If you're not interested in lower voltage and frequency, but want a small board, then Arduino Pro Mini 5V/16 MHz would be better choice for you.
