This is a breakout board for ITG3200 chip containing triple-axis gyroscope. Analog signals generated by the gyroscope itself are converted to digital by internal 16-bit DAC converters. The chip has a built-in temperature sensor built-in.
The module can be supplied with 2.1 to 3.6V (so 5V is improper). The communication is performed over fast (400 kHz). On the board there is a jumper for changing I2C bus address (A0 could be shorted to ground) or supply voltage value. Thanks to that, in case of an address collision, the address could be changed.
Low current drain (6.5 mA in operating mode, 5 µA in standby mode), wide measurement range (2000 degrees/second).
