Cheap and very popular module to reading and writing RFID cards working on 13.56MHz (A/MIFARE,MF1xxS20, MF1xxS70, MF1xxS50).
Specification:
- Controller: NXP RC522
- Supply voltage: 3.3V (data lines 5V tolerant)
- Current consumption: peek up to 30mA, ~80μA in sleep mode
- Interface: SPI
- Range depends on token. Better i bigger antenas work from longer distance. Module is shipped with card and round token:
- Card is working from distance 20-30 mm
- Round token works from 10 mm
- Working conditions: -20 - 80°C
- Module size: 40 x 60mm
