You can build almost any circuit on breadboard. It is fast and convenient. Need some changes? Just rearrange jumper wires, elements and ready. But this can be also disadvantage when You want to use circuit for some longer time. Jumper wires can be plugged out by accident, elements don’t have rock-solid connectivity… You could design custom PCB, but this is time consuming and process requires many stages. In such cases protoboards are very handy. Regular PCB with drilled holes in 0.1” raster (2.54mm). Each hole is metalized. You can solder elements and wires. Mounting holes are handy when placing board in some case.
