Modem XBee - Series 2 wire antenna

Modem XBee - Series 2 wire antenna. XBee is low-power radio communication module. It provides connectivity between microcontrollers, but also direct access to digital I/O on modem and analog inputs. In many cases You won't need microcontroller on one side to measure or control simple circuit.

This modem is Series 2 with wire antenna. There are other flavors available:

• Modems with wire antenna have round working area (range is constant in each direction).
• Modems with on-chip antenna have heart-shaped working area, but they are most compact.
• Modems with U.FL connector does not have an antenna (they need external one to work). It is useful when modem is placed inside metal case (which shields modem from outside world). Antenna attached via U.FL can be placed outside of case.

Ten model to modem Series 2 - pozwala na pracę z dwoma modemami XBee (point-to-point) oraz sieci wielu modemów (mesh). W ofercie mamy też modem Series 1, który pracuje tylko point-to-point, i jest nieco tańszy (modem Series 2 i Series 1 nie będą ze sobą współpracowały nawet w p-t-p).
